All right, folks. I got the message!
Over the past few days, many of you have written to me about the plan to host courses (similar to the NestJS course) on Progressive Coder
Based on the feedback, I have understood that you are not interested in drip-fed courses spread across several weeks. The overwhelming view is that this approach breaks continuity and does not provide flexibility to learn faster.
Taking this into consideration, I have decided to shut down the NestJS course and also scrapped plans for future courses.
Also, as a token of appreciation for this feedback, I’m also sharing two free e-books with all of you.
You can grab them from the below links:
NestJS Fundamentals (covers the NestJS course content with some additions and improvements)
Naturally, this decision changes the content plans of Progressive Coder.
After much deliberation, I have decided to re-focus the content to be more actionable and useful on a week-by-week basis.
From next week onward, you can expect two types of emails every week:
Cloud & Backend Newsletter every Tuesday (you have already been getting this for a few weeks now)
DevEvolution Newsletter every Friday (the new initiative to add more value to your journey)
🗞️ Tuesday Cloud & Backend Newsletter
Every Tuesday, I will send you an email with a topic related to Cloud & Backend development.
Think about cloud architecture & platforms, the infrastructure space, and backend frameworks.
The email will contain actionable advice and/or knowledge about an important technical concept that can help you excel in your current or future role.
👉 Every alternate edition will be for 🔒 paid subscribers 🔒
📬 Friday DevEvolution Newsletter
I am a strong believer in 360-degree capability building.
In today’s day and age, you can’t just rely on technical chops alone to succeed and grow as a software developer.
You need to also learn the finer aspects of working in an organization, navigating your career in a team setting, and branding yourself as an expert in your field.
To support this, the Friday newsletter will focus on actionable advice that can fuel your growth and productivity as a software developer or an engineering leader.
👉 Every alternate edition will be for 🔒 paid subscribers 🔒
Overall, there will be a 50-50 split between free and paid content going forward.
The goal of the publication still remains the same. And that’s to help you become an amazing Cloud & Backend developer.
My aim is not to lecture you.
I will be sharing what worked for me.
I will also be sharing what didn’t work for me.
Above all else, I’m sharing how you should approach this incredibly rewarding journey of becoming a Cloud & Backend developer while having fun in the process.
Life is too short to feel miserable 😇
That’s all for now!
Wishing you a great weekend ahead ☀️
See you later…
